Cloudflare Appoints Carlos Torales Montero as Vice President, Head of Sales for Latin America

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cloudflare, Inc. (NYSE:NET), the security, performance and reliability company that helps build a better Internet, today announced the appointment of Carlos Torales Montero as vice president, head of Sales, Latin America, to leverage its global network and growing customer base in the region. Carlos brings over twenty years of experience in the technology industry, particularly in go-to-market strategy and talent development efforts in new markets, to drive growth and scale high performing organizations. Carlos comes to Cloudflare from Cisco, where he managed commercial and enterprise segments, product sales, and business development.

Cloudflare first invested in Latin America in 2014, expanding its network in the region by establishing a data center in Santiago, Chile. Today, Cloudflare’s global network covers over 270 cities in over 100 countries, including 36 cities in Latin America. Building on its strong network and partnerships in the region, Cloudflare plans to expand further in Latin America and continues to grow its network footprint to connect users and organizations globally.
